With 1 in 4 children living in poverty, Arizona has the 4th highest rate in the nation. 495,000 school children depend on reduced or free meals from their school in order to eat breakfast and lunch. Over winter break, many of these children and their families will go hungry without the meals provided by our public schools.

We can't even imagine the pain and devastation of hunger. No child should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. We've decided to team up again with CCV and feed as many of these families as we can. And we would just love it if our amazing customers would come along side us and help make this happen!

For the cost of what you would spend on a couple of pizzas, we can feed an entire family for 2 weeks! Our church has developed a program called Family to Family working with the public schools to identify 100 schools where the need is the greatest. A list of 23 food items was put together and approved. The goal this year to literally feed 5000 families! You don't have to be affiliated with our church, or any church, hunger is not a religious issue, it's a human issue.You can help for as little as $5.00 or support an entire family or more!

Now through December 14th we will be helping to purchase and put together food boxes for the 2 week winter school break — a time when many children go hungry! Each box costs around $40.00. CCB will match dollar for dollar up to 100 boxes of our own. Which means that you could help us feed 200 families over Christmas! All of the funds collected will go directly to the purchase of food for the boxes to help feed these children and their families. Our staff will assemble and deliver the boxes and we will pay for all of the associated fees to make this happen.

1 Box = 1 family that will not go hungry this holiday!
